Cattle Producers to take up predator wolf issues

COLVILLE – Predator wolves will be a chief topic of discussion at the monthly meeting of the Cattle Producers of Washington here on Wednesday, May 9.

The meeting will be held at Stephani's Oak Street Grill at 157 N. Oak St. in Colville. It will get under way at 7 p.m., preceded by a 6 p.m. no-host dinner.

The CPW meeting will also include an update on the recently formed Livestock Processors Cooperative Association. It is separate from the CPW.

Also on the agenda are a Beef Commission seat nomination and an update on the meeting between the CPW, State Patrol and Washington State Department of Agriculture meeting held on April 13 at the Washington-Idaho state line.
