SPOKANE - BAUERFINANCIAL, Inc., the nation's leading bank rating and research firm, has given a five-star superior bank rating to Wheatland Bank of Spokane.

A five-star rating indicates Wheatland Bank is one of the strongest banks in the nation. The bank has earned BAUERFINANCIAL's five-star rating (its highest rating) for five consecutive years.

"Under the leadership of Ms. Susan M. Horton, CEO, Wheatland Bank is one of the U.S. Banks that evokes an image of a brighter banking future for our communities," said Karen L. Dorway, president of BAUERFINANCIAL. "That's good news regardless of your age and income bracket."
