Harassment training available at BBCC
MOSES LAKE - Harassment training for supervisors, managers and human resource directors is available at Big Bend Community College.
The 2.5 hour session is held from 9:30 a.m. to noon, April 25, at 7662 Chanute St. NE, Moses Lake. The training is offered in English and Spanish.
The Washington Farm Labor Association is offering the training, which they describe as "fast paced." The cost is $55 per person for association members and guests from their company.
Northwest Dairy Association (NDA) members' entry fees are paid for by the NDA.
Attendees learn:
- What is harassment and the danger signs?
- What is acceptable, unacceptable and illegal behavior and what to do if you find out about it?
- Strategies for recognizing and resolving complaints before they escalate; and
- The roles of supervisors and management.
