EPHRATA - Grant County Sheriff Tom Jones is hosting a town hall meeting at the George Community Hall Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend and learn how to become involved in a partnership with the Sheriff's office to work toward safer communities in which to raise their families, Jones stated.

The sheriff's administrative staff will be on hand to answer questions.

The George meeting is the latest in a series of town halls scheduled in communities around Grant County.

Other upcoming meetings include one May 7 from 7 to 9 p.m. in Grand Coulee at Pepper Jack's Restaurant, 113 Midway Avenue, and another June 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. in Royal City at the Royal High School Library.

Additional town meetings are being scheduled and will be announced soon, Jones said.
