PRESIDENTIAL RACE

Reader is concerned about the elderly

I'm really worried about our presidential candidates. There isn't much they're saying that's going to benefit the elderly and the poor. Especially if one thinks that Mitt Romney is elected, he's going to be more for the rich. There're people and children in the United States barely making it. Cost of living has gone up after one pays they're bills and other essentials one needs for their home, like toilet paper, tooth paste, soap. Government officials say those are, they count every cent that comes into your house like DSHS, child support, disabilities checks, social security, as they state it's to get by. How about those that see doctors so often gas prices have gone so high, those that pay for medications state doesn't take that into account. We're not all rich or born with a silver spoon in our mouth. I know elderly people and disabled people with children that only get 10 to 124 in food stamps because of their income. I'd like a government official live off for one month or one year, off an elderlies or disabled income and eat off of that.
