David Ridgway
David was born August 12, 1962 Hahn Air Force Base, Germany, and passed away March 29, 2012 in Moses Lake. He moved with his family as a toddler to Moses Lake, and attended public school.
After finishing his secondary school David enlisted himself into the U.S. Army in 1980. As a result he was stationed in Germany. While serving, David joined a Rodeo Circuit and rode broncs. He was Honorably Discharged in 1984. After life in the military, David returned home to Moses Lake, and worked for Hochstatter Electric as an electrician, and later Moses Lake Iron and Metals.
David loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed going to the Sand Dunes, where he had years of fun with fellow members of the Sand Scorpions. As a member, one of his enthusiastic things to do each year was putting together the Sand Scorpions Haunted house during Halloween.
David is survived by his son, James (Lynn Wahl, mother) of Ephrata, his brother Pat (Elizabeth) Ridgway of Moses Lake, his sister Cathy (Phil) Reed, of Moses Lake of Moses Lake, his grandmother Wilda Faye Mason of Moses Lake, his uncles Al and Steve Mason of Alaska, his stepdad Kenneth Dunn (KD), his nephews Eric, Nathan and Steven, his nieces, Trish, Teresa, Dera and Thresa. He leaves behind his extended family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Loretta Ridgway, brother Ross Lingenfelter, and grandfather Dave Mason.
