Sheriff's posse sets play days

EPHRATA – If you enjoy horses and horseback riding, the Grant County Sheriff's Posse has planned some events just for you.
The Posse will hold a series of Play Days throughout 2012. These are informal horse shows featuring western performance, western equitation and games.
Play Days help build relationships between riders and between riders and their horses.
Play Days are held at the Grant County Fairgrounds, 3953 Airway Dr. NE, Moses Lake. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m. each day, with performance events, such as fitting & showing, western pleasure, and western equitation starting at 8:00 a.m.
Western Games such as barrels, poles, and a third event TBD start at 12 noon.
Play Days are scheduled for April 22, June 10 and July 22 in the Rodeo Arena, and September 16 in the Pavilion.
Entry fees will be:
- Lead line/Pee Wee: $7 all day
- All other age groups: $10 all day or $4 per class
- There is a $10 refundable manure deposit required.
