Easter egg hunt set for Saturday

| April 6, 2012 1:00 PM

GEORGE – The annual Easter egg hunt for the George community will be held this Saturday, April 7.

“Dress warmly, and don't forget to bring a basket for each or your children,” community leader Debby Kooy said.

The Easter egg hunt will be held  in the George Community Park. It will start at 9 a.m.

Before the hunt, there will be a sale of baked goods prepared by the Georgettes, George's women's community boosters. The treats will include special Easter cookies, cakes, sweet bread and rolls.

Proceeds from the sale will help the Georgettes fund their George beautification projects.

“You'll be seeing the lovely floral results around town this summer,” Kooy said.
