Pro-Fit owner James Gettings found dead

QUINCY – Grant County Coroner Craig Morrison has determined a man found dead Monday morning, March 26, in Quincy is well-known businessman James Gettings.
Grant County Sheriff's Deputies responded to the 8000 block of County Road K Northwest around 9:20 a.m. on Monday after a man was found dead inside a home. The death was not witnessed, and a firearm was found at the scene, deputies said.
After further investigation, Morrison said on Thursday that the body was that of Gettings. Morrison said Gettings died of a gunshot to the head, and the manner of death was suicide.
Neither the deputies nor Morrison revealed if Gettings left a suicide not.
Gettings, 46, was the owner of the Pro-Fit workout fitness center. He was also a power lifting and body building champion.
