EASTON - The Columbia Basin Secondary School (CBSS) Lady Phoenix traveled to Easton Tuesday to face the Lady Jags and came away with a five set (21-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-10, 15-11). victory.
The win runs the Phoenix record to 3-9 in league play and 6-12 overall.
"I think the girls made this one harder than it had to be," coach Terri Pixlee said. "The strong service and court work of Madison Hansen and the experience of Jaquese Hardin really held our team together."
Crystal Lloyd led the way for CBSS with nine kills and three aces. Madison Hansen added five aces and two kills, Amber Lloyd had two aces, three kills and one block, and Marlea Moreno finished with 2 kills and one assist.
The Phoenix hosts Moses Lake Christian Academy in their last match of the season tonight at 5:30.
