JON LANE Reader highlights candidate's history

Teachers take pleasure in seeing their students grow up and become successful in their chosen fields. I remember Jon Lane as an outstanding student who always completed his assignments and was a pleasure to have in class. As a student, he was also involved in music, athletics and student activities. Jon chose to become a teacher and a coach because he loves working with young people. Jon got involved in the Moses Lake Parks and Recreation Commission and later was elected to the city council. As a city councilman, Jon is now a respected, forward-looking city leader who spends a great deal of time talking with citizens about the needs of our community. He has been a great supporter of improving the Moses Lake Public Library. As a member of the Moses Lake Public Library Foundation, I look forward to his involvement in this endeavor.
