Ephrata woman dies after rollover crash

QUINCY - An Ephrata woman died from injuries sustained when she rolled her car Thursday evening on state Route 28 near Quincy.

Marjorie M. Ashenbrenner, 86, was driving a 2003 Honda Accord east on state Route 28, near Crescent Bar Road, when she left the road to the right, according to Washington State Patrol on Friday. 

She reportedly over-corrected and swerved off the right shoulder, rolling the vehicle.

Ashenbrenner reportedly suffered undisclosed injuries and was transported to Central Washington Hospital. 

She died Friday afternoon, according to the state patrol.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. No charges are anticipated at this time, according to the report.
