Weather brings Northern Birds to Central Washington.

MARDON RESORT - Our opening of Waterfowl Season was the weakest production of ducks in recent memory. The Feds have been counting waterfowl for 56 years and the counts for the 2011/12 Waterfowl Season are the highest they have been in 42 years. So we are all looking forward to the harsh winter weather to bring the Northern Birds down to Central Washington.

In the meantime it is time to enjoy our fall fishing in the Potholes Recreation Area. Our surface water temps have cooled which has made the fishing improve greatly. So better get and enjoy our nice fall weather before the cold weather of winter rolls in.
