County to host emergencies discussion at Crescent Bar

CRESCENT BAR - There will be a forum on Saturday, Oct. 29, to discuss reaction to and management of emergencies for residents of the Crescent Bar area.

The meeting will be hosted by Grant County Emergency Management (GCEM). It will be held at The Morning After in Crescent Bay, at 23758 Crescent Bay Dr. NW, from 9-11 a.m.

The meeting will include a presentation. A discussion will follow.

According to GCEM's Kyle Foreman, this forum is part of the county's effort to inform the community and to recruit community volunteers.

"Emergency Management staff encourages the public to attend, share their concerns about natural and human-caused hazards and to learn about how to protect their homes and property from disasters," Foreman said.
