Jon Joy

| October 22, 2011 3:00 AM

Jon "Butch" Joy 75 of Cave Creek, Arizona went to dance with Jesus on October 12, 2011. He was the son of the late Everett and Hazel Joy of Moses Lake.

He left behind his wife Janice Zylka Joy of 56 years, two daughters Lisa Joy Ramey of Cave Creek Arizona, Lesli Joy Hazlett and husband Victor Hazlett of Concord California. Jon has 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He also left behind his sisters, Dixie Natermas and Brother- in-law Felix Natermas of Surprise, Arizona, Joyce Simmons and Barbara Easton of Sea-Tac Washington, along with his cousins Steve Joy, Hillary Joy, Linda Joy and Bonnie Thompson. With so many nieces, nephews and extended family it would be hard to add them all up. He was a very lovable, gentle, and kind-hearted person with a great sense of humor and compassion. He loved reading his Bible, the desert, his family and his dogs! Most of all he loved the Lord!

Jon, you are leaving a large hole in our lives and we Love you and will miss you but know you have been waiting for the day you would meet your Heavenly Father.

There will be a celebration of life for Jon at Lone Mountain Fellowship in Cave Creek Arizona followed by a good old-fashioned "Baptist" Potluck; HIS favorite.

Please, if it is in your heart make a donation to Hospice of the Valley.
