Reader likes 'hero' in council race

Very few cities in the US have their own hometown "hero." Moses Lake is one of the lucky few. Jon Lane, through his courageous, swift actions in the midst of a life-threatening emergency, ended an extremely hostile situation peacefully and undoubtedly averted the loss of several additional lives in a tragically fatal incident.
