Reader likes 'hero' in council race

Very few cities in the US have their own hometown "hero." Moses Lake is one of the lucky few. Jon Lane, through his courageous, swift actions in the midst of a life-threatening emergency, ended an extremely hostile situation peacefully and undoubtedly averted the loss of several additional lives in a tragically fatal incident.

For me, he is just as much a hero for his dedication to the improvement of the quality of life for all of the citizens of Moses Lake, through his many years of service to the community on the city council. I invite you to join me in supporting and voting for Jon Lane in the forthcoming election.
