The Lady Vikings made quick work out of Ephrata Tuesday evening with a convincing three set win, (10-25,18-25, 12-25).

The Tigers got behind early in all three matches, and put up little resistance against a determined Selah team that was playing in front of its home crowd.

Kendra DeHoog led the attack for Ephrata with eight kills, five digs and three blocks. Heidi Buchert added three kills and two blocks, Sarah Pheasant dished out 10 assists, had five digs, one block and one kill. Whitney Wulf finished with two blocks and five digs and Tess Ratigan had one kill, one ace and four digs..

"We got off to a slow start, but we showed up to play game two," coach Britney Ratigan said. "Our defense started to move as one and our attackers started to be more aggressive."

The loss drop the Tigers to 4-3 and into fourth place in CWAC action. The league leading Vikings record remains unblemished at 7-0.

Ephrata is at Othello Saturday. The match gets underway at 12:30.
