Warden volleyball defeats White Swan

WHITE SWAN - Warden kept its wining ways intact Tuesday win a hard fought four set (25-17, 25-20, 22-25, 25-13) win over the White Swan Cougars.

Keisha Urwin had 10 kills and one ace to lead the Warden Cougars attack. Iris Rodriguez added seven kills and seven aces, Haley Yamane went 15 for 15 serving, with 2 aces and 11 assists, and Genesis Gonzalez connected on 10 out of 10 serves, and had three aces.

"We kept the match under control tonight," coach Dennis Treat said. "White Swan played us tough and never gave up."

The victory over White Swan pushes the Warden Cougars record to 6-2 in the North Central B league and 12-4 overall.

Warden hosts Lake Roosevelt tomorrow. The match is set for 5 p.m.
