DICK DEANE: Reader lists reasons to vote for councilman

A Moses Lake councilman is a very important position in our community. Dick Dean should serve in that capacity for the following reasons.

1. He has served on the Parks and Recreation committee for 12 years, during which time numerous parks have been established and improvements on the aquatic center have been done.

2. Dick has helped in the downtown Moses Lake beautification improvements as well as supporting the improvements of Grant County such as the transportation system.

3. His background as a hall of fame wrestling couch as Moses Lake High School and administrator have honed his leadership skills.

4. Dick has an approachable demeanor, listens very well, researches all issues, is proactive, and works well in group situations.

5. Having grown up in Moses Lake, Dick as the vision and concern for the continual growth of our city and county.

For these reasons, please support Dick Deane to continue as a member of the city council.
