Body identified as Okanogan woman

MOSES LAKE - The body of a woman found near Brewster Saturday was identified as Vickey Lee Renner, 59, Okanogan.

An autopsy performed Monday found Renner's death was caused by blunt force trauma to the head and neck area and is being ruled a homicide, according to Douglas County Sheriff Harvey Gjesdal.

Renner also went by the last name of Harvey, Gjesdal stated. Her next of kin have been notified.

Douglas County Sheriff's detectives, Brewster Police and Okanogan County Sheriff's deputies worked most of the night attempting to find information about Renner's activities, where she lived and who her associates were, Gjesdal stated.
