WILSON CREEK - The Columbia Basin Secondary School volleyball team traveled to Wilson Creek last Thursday, looking for a much needed win against the Lady Blue Devils.

But the Phoenix were turned back in five competitive sets, (25-23,21-25,25-27,25-10,20-18).

"We were very evenly matched in this game," coach Terri Pixlee said. "This is the first time we've gone to five games.ÊThe score was very tight in each one."

Crystal Lloyd led the attack for CBSS with seven kills, two aces, and two blocks;

The loss drops the Phoenix record to 1-5 in league play and 2-5 overall.
