MOSES LAKE - The Columbia Basin Secondary School volleyball team played an unwelcoming host to the Lady Jags last Friday, taking the match against Easton in four games (24-26,25-11,25-18,25-4).

The win improved the Lady Phoenix record to 1-3 in league play and 2-4 overall.

Emilee Hieronymus led the way for Columbia Basin with 10 aces, four assists and two digs, Crystal Lloyd tallied two aces and nine kills, and Amber Lloyd finished seven aces and five kills.

"Now that we have a firm line up, the girls have had to opportunity to work on their rhythm as a team," coach Terri Pixlee said. "I'm very pleased with Crystal Lloyd's nine kills. We really needed her blocking and hitting on the front row." Easton couldn't stop Emilee's serving, as she was totally back from her shoulder injury."

The Phoenix take on Moses Lake Christian Academy tonight at 5:30 at MLCA.
