Fresh News from MarDon: Fall fishing makes a showing
MARDON RESORT - Fall is upon us in Central Washington. We are enjoying comfortable daytime temps and cooler nights.
Fall fishing patterns have begun to show. Fish instinctively begin heavy feeding patterns to prepare for winter.
Our walleye bite has improved and quality trout have become active.
Bass are showing good action on the edge of the sand dunes and along O'Sullivan Dam.
Also, Upper Goose Lake has been producing trout limits to 17 inches.
Walleye are being reported regularly from Goose Lake.
Goose Lake recently opened and it will be open until Memorial Day Weekend 2012 so for some fun fishing give it a visit.
The MarDon Fishing Dock has been showing a mixed bag of yellow perch, bluegill, crappie, bullheads and small and largemouth bass.
Our dock is open and you can buy a daily pass from the MarDon Store but this winter we will be closing the dock to overnight guests only.
