On November 17th, 2011 Shirley Jean Rorick passed away at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Wash. at age 63. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, going to the movies, and being at the sand dunes with her son James Rorick and his children. She was a very loving mother and grandmother. One of her greatest gifts to all dear to her was her amazing gift for cooking; she didn't have a lot so her contribution to her children was to cook. Her other wonderful qualities were her endless love and support. She spent most of her past few years taking care of her granddaughter, Gracie Jean, who along with many other grandchildren will miss her dearly. Those people who were lucky to enough to have been blessed by her presence, knew that she was very caring, loving, and patient. Her life was wasn't easy as she faced many challenges. Through all of that she had a strong faith that made her a fighter. She was always able to see the positive in any situation and because of that she lived a full and happy life. She will be greatly missed.
