Tuesday shot clinic at health district

| November 18, 2011 5:00 AM

MOSES LAKE - Flu season has arrived, and the Grant County Health District is offering shots for $25 at its Moses Lake office at 1038 West Ivy.

"Getting your flu shot now means you will be protected in time for holiday family gatherings," said GCHD spokeswoman Theresa Fuller.

Fuller noted there is a special flu vaccine called Fluzone High-Dose for people 65 years and older. It is stronger than the regular vaccine. Interested persons should ask for it.

The flu shots at Moses Lake are given between 9-11 a.m. on Tuesdays. For a flu shot source near you, visit the website www.granthealth.org.
