Staff Report | November 18, 2011 5:00 AM

DESERT AIRE - Washington Husky fans will square off with Washington State Cougar fans on Nov. 26 at Desert Aire Golf Course in the annual Husky-Cougar golf bash.

This is a two-person team event of any combination - two men, two women, one of each. Each team must choose to play as Huskies or Cougars. The number of divisions will depend on the number of players.

This is a Desert Aire mens and womens clubs event, but non-members are invited. All they need is an official handicap. The entry fee is $20 per team.

This will be a 6-pak event. The first six holes will be best ball, the second six select drive and the final six a scramble.

There are some special rules. You will be deducted one stroke for guessing the winner of the UW-WSU football game.

If you pick the winner and guess the correct point spread, you will be able to deduct that point spread.

There will be a party in the clubhouse lower level after the golf. Players are asked to bring their favorite snacks.
