DESERT AIRE - Two people were hit by what is believed to be buckshot during a drive-by shotgun shooting aimed at a residence at 510 Thunderbird Way West on Thursday, Nov. 10.

The shooting occurred at about 10 p.m., according to Grant County Undersheriff Dave Ponozzo. His office received the call at about 10:20.

According to Ponozzo, the two persons who were hit said they were former street gang members. They declined transportation to a medical facility.

Ponozzo said investigators found spent shotgun shells in the street in front of the home. He added that information is being sought on the suspect vehicle, a green Honda passenger car.

Anyone with information is asked to call 762-1160.
