Warden defeats Entiat in three sets

Warden - The Warden Cougar volleyball team improved its record to 9-3 in 2B Central Washington South Conference action with a three set (25-16, 25-16, 25-20) win over the Entiat Tigers Saturday.
The team finished in third place and will face Pateros Nov. 5, at 10 a.m. at Entiat High School in the first round of district play.
"It was senior "night" in the day time, as the match took place at 10 a.m.," coach Dennis Treat said. "The Lady Cougar seniors all played well in their last match at home. Chelsea Brown, Kayla Martinez, Keisha Urwin, Graciela Vela, Jessica Haynes and Genesis Gonzalez have all been a credit to the Warden volleyball program. They will be missed."
Warden, 16-7 overall, was led by Brown who tallied 10 aces, three kills, 10 assists and eight digs. Hannah Bisnett added seven kills, two digs and three blocks, Urwin contributed five kills, one ace and six digs, and Haley Yamane finished with 10 assists, one kill, four aces and eight digs.
