Cozy Comforts sale and bazaar this Saturday

ROYAL CITY - This Saturday, Dec. 3, is the date for The annual Cozy Comforts Holiday Sale and Bazaar of Desert Aire.
The holiday event will go from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Sagebrush Senior Center.It will offer various Christmas ideas.
Flyers are posted on the mailbox stands around Desert Aire and in some of the businesses in Mattawa and Desert Aire.
In the food category, there will be cookies of all kinds, pies, cakes, cupcakes, candy, fudge, and snack items and much more.
In the non-food category, there will be handmade holiday cards, crocheted dishcloths and ornaments, handmade holiday decorations, tote bags, gift bags, placemats and napkins, and much more.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a lunch of hot chicken soup, crackers and dessert bar.
The popular "granny attic," previously known as the "granny table," will be loaded with one-of-a-kind, just-gotta-have-it bargains.
Raffle prizes will include a panda bear quilt, Christmas quilt, donations from Milbrandt and Ginkgo wineries, Lep-re-kon gift certificate, items from Marty's True Value. Crocheted afghans and more items are still coming in.
In addition, again this year there will be a silent auction including a treadmill, golf rounds with cart, giraffe afghan, frog quilt, tiger golf club covers, crystal candlesticks, several unique afghans, and much, much more.
The bake sale and bazaar raises funds to support the charitable work of Cozy Comforts of South Grant County. In the past four years, local volunteers have created afghans, quilts and fleece blankets for more than 4,000 children in need of a blanket hug.
"We depend entirely on the generosity of individuals, corporations and local companies to help us carry out this much-needed mission,"
President Diane Hanson said. "We would love to see you at the sale to help us support our mission."
