Greyhound bus catches fire

MOSES LAKE - A Greyhound bus caught fire in Moses Lake on Wednesday.

Passengers were on the bus, but exited safely before the Moses Lake Fire Department arrived to extinguish the fire, according to a spokesperson.

The bus service makes routine stops on Kittleson Road in Moses Lake.

The fire was contained to the engine compartment of the bus.

One engine crew, a medical crew and two command officers were dispatched to the fire.

The bus was near Ernie's Truck Stop, but there was no danger to the fueling station, according to the fire department.

The cause is under investigation.
