Donald J. Schaible

Donald J. Schaible, 73, longtime Moses Lake resident, died Saturday, May 21, 2011 in his home due to a long illness with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born in Leola, South Dakota on March 21, 1938 to Joseph and Alvina (Gohl) Schaible.

Donald moved here with his family and attended school here. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and received an Honorable Discharge and went to work for Moses Lake Sheet Metal, and worked there until becoming ill.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Alvina Schaible, sisters Althea and Alvera.

Donald is survived by three sons Darren (Sara) Schaible, of Bowling Green, OH, Don and Troy, of Pueblo, CO; stepchildren, grandchildren, and one sister Darlene (Howard) Daniels, of Moses Lake.

We want to thank Rebecca Jones, Donald's very special caregiver for the tender, loving care she provided for Don.

At Donald's request there will be no services held.

Donald's family has asked Carver Family Funeral Home to care for final arrangements.
