Final Royal High School students of month announced

ROYAL CITY - Counselor Marge Edwards has announced the names of the final students of the month for Royal High School for 2011.

Along with the first 32, they will be recognized at the school's Evening of Honors on May 25. It will take place at 7 p.m. at the high school gym.

"I just call them up by class, and I give each of them a pin," Edwards said. "They've already received a certificate."

The May senior SOM was Zenaida Lopez, daughter of Leonicio Lopez  and Maria Garcia. The junior SOM was Cindia Arroyo, daughter of Alfredo and Maria Meza.

Makynlee Miller was named sophomore SOM. She is the daughter of Willis and Stephanie Miller. 

And Selia Jenks was named freshman SOM. She is the daughter of Justin and Heather Jenks.
