Work dates set for garden

ROYAL CITY - Royal City Community Garden organizer Sharon Chesterman is asking members of the community for volunteer hours at the garden on May 25, 26 and 27.

"There are woodchips to spread and weeds to pull," she said.

Chesterman noted workers are welcome at any hour, but the suggested hours for May 25-27 will be 4-6 p.m.

Chesterman is seeking someone who will take an interest in and be responsible for composting yard waste at the garden site.

Persons interested in helping may contact Chesterman at 346-9482. She will be out of town until Thursday evening.
