KETTLE FALLS - The Lady Warriors of Almira/Coulee-Hartline won their second consecutive district title in a come-from-behind 5-4 win over Selkirk on Saturday.

ACH (20-1) trailed 4-3 going into the bottom of the fifth inning when they tied it a 4-4 and would ultimately come out on top with one more run in the last half of the sixth.

"This game was a good experience for the girls," ACH head coach Nicole Evans said. "They had to come back from behind, go ahead during a tie and then hold a lead to win. All those things they really haven't had to do all season."

Allison Fox went 2-for-4 with a double and one RBI and was responsible for four of ACH's runs as she scored three times herself.

Sarah Gloyn and Madeline Isaak combined their pitching efforts and struck out seven Selkirk batters.

On Saturday the Lady Warriors play a 2 p.m. regional game at Medical Lake to determine the Class 1B state finals seeding.
