The staff of the Grant County National Children's Study wants to take this opportunity to thank the members of the community for welcoming us at the Taste of Home Cooking Show. The show was put together by the Columbia Basin Herald and held at the Grant County Fairgrounds. We were impressed by the organization of the event! A special "thanks" to Lynn Garza for the use of some tools for set up! The response from community members was overwhelming and positive, and people visiting our table were interested in learning more about The National Children's Study. We were excited that many people stated that they had read about the National Children's Study previously or had seen our team out in Grant County or at other meetings, presentations, or events! People were very friendly, and we were surprised at the numerous people that supported this event from all across the county. It is wonderful that members of Grant County are supportive of cooking and eating healthy and nutritious meals, and we thank you for the chance to be part of the event.
