Five surplus vehicles sold

ROYAL CITY - The Royal School District board of directors voted to sell five surplus vehicles at its last meeting, after a sealed bid process.
Board President Bonney Brown opened the bids. Board member Craig Janet moved they be accepted, Vice President Bob Murphy seconded the motion, and the board voted affirmatively.
A school bus was sold to Steve Bishop for $300. Another bus was sold to Larry Spalding for $227.
A Toyota Corrola went to Ana Castillo for $600. Spalding bought a Ford Taurus for $101. And a 1973 Plymouth Fury went to Robert Ludtke for $400.
