COULEE CITY - Strong hitting and two solid pitching performances led to an Almira/Coulee-Hartline sweep of Columbia on Saturday.

The host Lady Warriors cruised to a 17-7, 10-4 doubleheader win and now stand at 17-1 overall as they begin Bi County playoff play tomorrow in a semifinal game against either Columbia (5-7) or Curlew (!2-3).

In game one, ACH (17-1, 10-0) used a 10-run first inning and Sarah Gloyn's winning pitching performance to cruise.

Nikki Osborne hit a home run and the Lady Warriors pulled away with a six-run fourth inning as pitcher Madeline Isaak ran her record to 8-0 on the season.
