Moses Lake association awards scholarships
Nine of the 13 recipients of Moses Lake Alumni Association scholarships pose at the ceremony April 30.
MOSES LAKE - The Moses Lake Alumni Association and Board held their fifth annual celebration of scholarship awards April 30 at the Frontier Middle School cafeteria.
Thirteen $1,000 scholarships were awarded by the association to: Matt Adame, Josie Awbrey, Kelli Clark, Haliey Gilbert, Carlos Hernandez, Cassandra Keller, Shelby Kenner, Sydney Kimbro, Colton Messer, Daniel Noteboom, Elizabeth Palmer, Cesar Sanabia and Precious Smith.
Hernandez received the Scott Dean Owen memorial scholarship, Gilbert received the Duane Leitzke memorial scholarship and Messer received the Merle Clemmo memorial scholarship.
Membership to the alumni association is open to anyone. Annual dues are $5. For more information email [email protected] or go to www.moseslakeschools.org under the community tab.
