Reader wants return of column

I fail to understand the uproar about Lynne Lynch's observations at a Moses Lake school last week. Since when does a newspaper apologize for truthful information published on its pages?  "My Turn" is clearly an opinion piece and we as readers expect to read opinions there. Lynch's opinion is pretty reasonable based on her observations and since she had control of the column, she is entitled to her opinion. My opinion here is not going to be popular to all your readers ... Are you going to apologize for what I think, also? I enjoy the "My Turn" column and I think the Columbia Basin Herald should continue to print it. I also think that the paper should consider encouraging the truth to be printed even though it is unpopular with some of its readers.
