My name is Ana Cappelletti and I am the race chairman for the Solar Cup hydroplane races held at Connelly Park. In the past 7 years I would have to say that this is the best year we have had! We had beautiful weather a great turn out of boats and the fan base just keeps growing more and more! We are all so happy to be in such a great community such as Moses Lake where everyone is so nice and pleasant!

I want to thank everyone involved that helps us with the event! First and foremost MLIRD which hosts the event and the employees at the park that are such a joy to work with every year! The Solar Cup committee has been a tremendous help to us and I look forward to working with this committee to make this race more of a success each year! The outpouring support from the city has been overwhelming and I couldn't be more humbled! Thank you!

I want to thank all that were involved to make this possible! We look forward to coming to Moses Lake every year as boat racers and the conducting club of the race; Seattle Drag and Ski we are all very appreciative and can't wait for 2012!
