Chiefs girls ended up fifth in the CBBN POD
PASCO - Bad weather conditions compounded the Chiefs girls from making a push for a second consecutive fourth place finish in CBBN POD play on Monday as they ended up fifth and stood the same in the standings with one tournament left to play.
Moses Lake shot a 205 and now head to Yakima next week for the final POD.
"We ended up only playing nine holes due to heavy rains and wind," Chiefs coach Lonny Brown said. "Vannessa Goodwin had another solid day shooting a 44 and finishing in a tie for sixth. Emily Dennis had her best finish of the season with a nine-hole career best 54." We head to Yakima next Tuesday for our final POD match before districts.
Other Moses Lake scorers were Jacy Jones who finished with a 49 and Kristi Brown who ended her shortened round with a 58. Terrin Utter's 64 and Katrina Ulnick's 73 did not go toward the team's final score.
