Staff appreciation at schools

ROYAL CITY - Teachers and other staff in the Royal School District will be honored with a "gift of appreciation" and cake from May 1-7, dates set aside as staff appreciation week.

Staff appreciation week is observed by the district's administrators, including Superintendent Rose Search. It is for working extra hours, going the extra mile, bonding with students, making the support of students a priority and being part of the team.

"This is just a small gesture to let you know that your hard work and dedication to our students has not gone unnoticed," Search wrote to school staff.
