Patricia 'Pat' W. Jensen
Patricia "Pat" W. Jensen, 65, of Warden, died Thursday April 29, 2011 at the Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, WA.
Pat was born on September 4, 1945 in New London, Wisconsin to Fredrick and Irene (Alft) Dahms. She was raised in New London, graduating from high school there. After graduation she met George Jensen, they married on September 20, 1969. They lived in and around Waupaca, WI, where Pat worked as a house cleaner. In 1986 they moved to Yakima. Pat attended Trend Business College, graduating with an Associates Degree in 1988. She continued to work at Trend College as a recruiter. In 1997 George's work moved them to the Othello area. Pat went to work for the Columbia Basin Herald and the Othello Outlook with the "Basin Farmer". In 2006 Pat went to work for Wal-Mart in Othello, she worked in the garden center and later as a greeter, she loved seeing all of her friends and making new friends as they came through the door. Pat was very active in the Othello Crane Festival for several years, and was a big supporter of the Old Hotel Art Gallery. She enjoyed creating small collections, often changing what she collected year after year, and then selling her old collections at yard sales. Pat had two passions, her family and her dog Tiffy, though not always in that order.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Brothers; Andrew, Duaine Robert and James, Sisters Laverna Petersen, Delores Freeman and Mary Elmer .
She is survived by her husband George of Warden, sons, Bobby Pierson of Indiana, Curt (Michelle) Jensen of Yakima, Kent (Shelly) Jensen of Othello and Bryan Jensen of Moses Lake. Her brother Fred Dahms of Land o' Lakes, WI, sisters Nena Krause of Appleton WI, Dorothy Brock of S.C. and Bernice Becker of New London WI, and 8 grandchildren.
Memorial services for Pat will be held at the Othello Church of the Nazarene on Monday May 2, 2011, at 2:00 PM.
Cremation services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Chapel.
