High school tennis: EPHRATA 3-0, Cashmere 2-5

EPHRATA - On Tuesday afternoon, the Ephrata boys tennis team swept singles play to hold off Cashmere 3-2 in non-league action.

Connor Sears took a 6-0, 6-0 decision at No. 1 singles for the Tigers, while his teammate, Thomas Pheasant cruised to a win at No.2, 6-1, 6-0.

A win at No. 1 doubles by Ephrata's Hunter Sears/Michael Bosnar, 6-2, 6-1, cemented the team win.

Ephrata's Lady Tigers team didn't fare as well, dropping a 5-0 decision to Cashmere.
