MOSES LAKE - Tickets are still available for the Moses Lake Chamber of Commerce's annual auction on Saturday.

For more information, call the chamber's executive director, Debbie Doran-Martinez at 509-750-4232.

The event, themed "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere," is at Pillar Rock Grill, located at 1373 Rd. F.2 N.E., Moses Lake. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

The evening features a dinner, silent auction and live auction.

The menu consists of a coconut shrimp appetizer, sweet and sour chicken, marinated tarragon pork crown, almond cranberry rice and red potatoes with bacon and onions. Pineapple sherbet is for dessert.

Auction items include gift baskets, gift certificates, tickets for events, a golf package with Mariners designated hitter Edgar Martinez, with golf at The Coeur d'Alene Resort, and wine tasting with the Dry Falls Cellars winemaker.

The chamber hopes to raise $20,000 to fund visitors' center operations, located inside the chamber office, said Doran-Martinez.

The funds pay for employees, mailing materials and overhead costs for visitor center phone lines and the chamber's website.

From April to September, the visitors' center portion of the chamber takes up 75 percent of employees' time.
