Dennis Dee Bonfantini 60, resident of Moses Lake, WA. passed away on March 05, 2011 from liver failure. With his favorite music playing and family by his side, Dennis passed peacefully. Please sign the online guestbook at www.kayserschapel.com

Dennis was born January 30, 1951 in Everett, WA. to Diego Bonfantini and Maxine Janet Moore. As the oldest child of five, Dennis lived up to his nickname 'Scooter', as he was always on the move. He spent his childhood, teasing his younger sibs, loving on the girls, making underground forts, he loved camping, was a 'Junior Deputy' of Snohomish County, a dock hand in Mukilteo.

Dennis was a generous and loving big brother to many other siblings including the children of Frank Koenig and Don Eney. Dennis had an amazing love and talent for music. He broke in the accordion long before exploring his vocals and rocking his guitar. His first teen age band consisted of Everett Herald junior paper dealers. They jammed in the family living room and named themselves 'Morning Mist.' They made their official debut at Olympic View Junior High in 1967.

Dennis graduated from Cascade High School, soon after married his first love Patty, and then years later, marrying Kathy. His greatest regret was moving on without making a home and family with either one of these wonderful women.

In his younger days, Dennis won the local battle of the bands, with several rock bands including ACE and Road Apple Roy.

Dennis shared his enthusiasm for 'good music' with his family and friends. As a lead singer and guitarist, his family soon learned Dennis was born to be a wanderer, seeking his dream of fame, he caught his first 'star' when in Colorado his band opened for the infamous 'Blue Oyster Cult.'

At whim and will, Dennis moved around the country, was equally at home in the city of Seattle and the beaches of Oahu, Ocean Shores, Twin Lakes, and Moses Lake, WA.

Dennis was a sheet rocker in construction with his brother David. Dennis often lived with and remodeled a home with his little sister Janet and her husband Mike.

His mentors included Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Jim/Van Morrison and Jesus Christ. Dennis is survived by his brother David Bonfantini of Rock Island, WA, Randy Bonfantini (Charmaine) San Francisco, CA, Step brother David Eney and Sisters, Lora Eaton (Saron Wise) of Everett, WA. and Janet Rollins (Michael) of Moses Lake, WA.

He dearly loved and was proud of his nephews and nieces, and will be greatly missed.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and Grandparents; especially our beloved Grandma Anna Moore.

Now for you honey, just know we LOVE you 'Big D,' and 'Uncle D.' This summer, your pals will celebrate your life with a gathering filled with love, laughter, good food, bad jokes and fun on the lake.

You have our blessing to go now and rock hard in heaven big brother.
