Royal Ridge Fruits has applied for renewal of its State Discharge Permit (SWDP) in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 90.48 Revised Code of Washington (RCW), Chapter 173-216 Washington Administrative Code (WAC).

Royal Ridge Fruits presently owns and operates a Fruit Processing facility that discharges wastewater to evaporative lagoons and then landscape irrigates the wastewater to a site adjacent to the facility. The facility has a maximum daily flow limit of 300,000 gallons per day from the processing facility and an annual limit for total flow to the landscape site of 4.3 million gallons per year for irrigation and dust control. The wastewater, following treatment, must meet the requirements of the Washington State Water Pollution Control Act and applicable regulations for a permit to be issued.

The Department of Ecology is proposing to renew the permit and is hereby issuing public notice of its intent. Interested persons are invited to submit their name, address, and comments regarding this permit to:
