Matilde Borrego Amescua

Matilde Borrego Amescua, age 77, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Samaritan Hospital with her family at her side. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Kayser's Chapel with Deacon Armando Escamilla officiating. Viewing will be held from noon to 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 8th at Kayser's Chapel. Matilde was born on February 8, 1934 in Coah., Monclova, Mexico and was a long-term resident of Warden, Washington. She married Rafael Amescua on September 11, 1960 and enjoyed 50 wonderful years with him. Matilde was employed at Skone & Conners in Warden for 25+ years.

Matilde is survived by her husband, Rafael of Warden WA; her daughter Martha Troncoso of Spokane WA; grandson Ricky Troncoso and daughter-in-law Rita Troncoso of Marina, CA , great granddaughter Alina Troncoso of San Juan Bautista CA; sister Consuelo Acevedo of Warden WA; sister Irene Cervantes of Yakima WA; and brother Oscar Borrego of Warden WA as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Matilde was a kind, gentle woman who was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved traveling with her husband and spending time with family. She loved and served the Lord. She will truly be missed by all.
