Cynthia Freeman
Long time Moses Lake resident, Cynthia "Cindy" Freeman passed away at her home in Ridgefield WA. June 24, 2011. Cindy was born in Caldwell, Idaho, August 25, 1948. Soon after, her family moved from Idaho to Moses Lake, WA, where her father and mother started A&W Feedlot. Cindy had a life long love affair with the ranch, and riding horses. She was crowned the 1966 Columbia Basin Round-Up Rodeo Queen. Later on she worked as a 4-H mom and volunteer in the Grant/Adams Counties 4-H horse program.
In the last eight years of her life, her energies and love of living were directed toward her grand children. Reading to, playing with, and just being "Ninni" to granddaughters, Mackenzie, Alyssa, and Hannah Dewey brought great joy to Cindy. Only those three little girls could cause her to leave her beloved Moses Lake for Ridgefield in 2007. Cindy was known and loved by many because she took time to listen. She never met a stranger.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Wilma Sircin, her niece Angela Watson Russell, and brother-in-law Michael Heath, all of Moses Lake. She is survived by her loving husband, Pat Freeman, daughter Nicole Newton Dewey and husband Jason, grandchildren Mackenzie, Alyssa, and Hannah Dewey all of Ridgefield, WA. Her older sister, Trudy Watson and husband Dick, younger sister Vickie Heath, also of Moses Lake. Nieces Lori Watson and Hailey Heath: nephews Andrew Heath, Andrew and Mathew Freeman and also special friend Edda Sievers and family.
Cindy touched the lives of many and will be missed by all who knew her. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service and celebration of her life on July 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Kayser's Chapel of Memories in Moses Lake.
