NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Quincy, Washington will

receive sealed bid proposals for the Overlay of several city

streets and† construction of Additional Parking Lot at

Reiman-Simmons Museum.

CITY OF QUINCY - Street Overlay & Reiman-Simmons Additional Parking Lot

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Quincy, Washington will receive sealed bid proposals for the Overlay of several city streets and† construction of Additional Parking Lot at Reiman-Simmons Museum. The contract provides† for the overlay of C- Street SE, construction of asphalt shoulder on I - Street SE, and J - Street SE, overlay of K - Street SE, cement concrete curb and gutter, and additional parking lot at Reiman-Simmons Museum. Bid proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. on July 12, 2011 at the City Hall located at 104 B Street SW, Quincy, WA 98848 and will then and there be publicly read aloud.† Bid proposal shall be clearly marked "City of Quincy - Street Overlay & Reiman-Simmons Additional Parking Lot , QPW -11 - S1".

A deposit of at least five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall accompany each Bid.† This deposit may be by cash, certified check, cashier's check, or a proposal Bond (Surety Bond).† Failure to furnish a Bid deposit of† a minimum of five percent (5%) shall make the Bid non-responsive and shall cause the Bid to be rejected by the Contracting Agency.† No conditional bid bond will be accepted.† Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Quincy. The City of Quincy reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities in the Bid or in the bidding.

This Project shall be Completed within 45 Working Days.
